Welcome to Paradise City 

Paradise City is home to Light Planes, Ultralights, Experimental aircraft and grassroots aviation at SUN ’n FUN. 

Throughout the Expo, Paradise City brings together active aircraft operations, exhibitors, educational opportunities and a community of pilots, builders and aviation enthusiasts—all centered around the 8/26 grass strip. 

Whether you’re flying in, participating in Paradise City operations, camping with your aircraft or exploring the area during the Expo, you’ll find the resources you need here. 

Flying to Paradise City? 

Pilots bringing an aircraft to Paradise City should complete the required aircraft and pilot registration and review the applicable aircraft evaluation and technical requirements before arriving.

Arriving at Paradise City

Review the current SUN ’n FUN NOTAM before your flight and follow all published arrival procedures and ground instructions. 

When arriving for Paradise City aircraft parking or camping, display:

After arriving and parking your aircraft, check in at Paradise City Headquarters.

Aircraft Camping at Paradise City 

Planning to stay with your aircraft? 

A limited number of aircraft camping spaces are available within Paradise City for Light Planes and Ultralights. 

Use the P placard when arriving for Paradise City aircraft camping and check in at Paradise City Headquarters after arrival. 

Review Aircraft Camping for current rates, early-arrival information, universal aircraft-camping rules and available amenities.

Paradise City Pilot Briefings 

Pilots operating from Paradise City should review the current briefing schedule and attend all applicable pilot briefings. 

Briefing information and schedules are updated for each Expo.

Ultralight Invasion 

The Ultralight Invasion brings ultralight pilots and aircraft from across the country together at Paradise City for a dedicated fly-in and celebration of ultralight aviation. 

The gathering includes concentrated Ultralight aircraft participation, dedicated aircraft camping and increased Ultralight flight activity throughout the event. 

Advance registration is required to participate in the Ultralight Invasion.
