Vintage brings together aircraft spanning several important eras of aviation history.
Antique
Aircraft constructed on or before August 31, 1945.
Classic
Aircraft constructed September 1, 1945 through December 31, 1955.
Contemporary
Aircraft constructed January 1, 1956 through December 31, 1970.
Together, these aircraft offer a unique look at how aviation evolved across decades of design, innovation and craftsmanship.

Located along Vintage Way, the Showcase features a specially selected collection of aircraft recognized for their craftsmanship, history and stories—including past award winners, rare restorations and other remarkable examples of Vintage aviation.

Vintage pilots interested in participating are invited to submit their aircraft for consideration. Showcase participation is optional and by selection, and submitting an aircraft does not guarantee placement.

Vintage Hospitality
For Vintage pilots and their guests, the Vintage Showcase Hospitality Tent provides a welcoming place to relax and connect with the Vintage community throughout the week.
Located along Vintage Way, the Hospitality Tent offers a comfortable gathering place and complimentary refreshments for participating Vintage pilots and their guests.
Preserving Excellence
Some of the remarkable aircraft you’ll see in Vintage are also competing for recognition through SUN ’n FUN Aircraft Judging.
Vintage judging recognizes outstanding aircraft across the Antique, Classic and Contemporary divisions, celebrating the preservation, restoration and craftsmanship that keep aviation history alive.

Dedicated Vintage Aircraft Parking and Camping are available for participating pilots.
Visit Arrive by Air for aircraft eligibility, arrival procedures, parking, camping, registration and other pilot information.
