The SUN ’n FUN Warbird area brings together legendary military aircraft representing generations of aviation history. Get an up-close look at these remarkable machines and discover the stories of the aircraft and people behind them.
Seaplanes
Not every airplane needs a runway.
Explore a unique collection of seaplanes and meet the pilots who trade pavement for water as part of their aviation adventures.
Paradise City & Ultralight Invasion
Discover the grassroots side of aviation at Paradise City.
Explore light planes, ultralights, experimental aircraft, gyroplanes and innovative designs up close while aircraft operate from the nearby grass strip throughout the day.
Paradise City is also home to flying demonstrations and some of SUN ’n FUN’s most approachable forms of recreational aviation. Celebrate the grassroots spirit of aviation during the Ultralight Invasion. Aircraft Judging
Some of the aircraft you’ll see at SUN ’n FUN aren’t just here to be admired—they’re competing for recognition.
Aircraft judging celebrates craftsmanship, restoration, authenticity and attention to detail across multiple aircraft categories, including Homebuilt, Light Plane, Seaplane, Rotorcraft, Ultralight, Warbird and Vintage aircraft.
