SUN ’n FUN is an experience for the whole family.
From hands-on STEM activities and flight simulation to incredible aircraft and opportunities to explore the science behind flight, young aviation enthusiasts can discover, create and experience aviation throughout the Expo.
Whether you’re bringing a future pilot, engineer, mechanic or simply a kid who thinks airplanes are cool, there’s plenty to explore together.
Kids 12 & Under Get in FREE

Junior ACEs | Ages 7–17
Explore. Create. Discover.
Junior ACEs gives young people the opportunity to experience aviation and aerospace through hands-on STEM activities designed to inspire curiosity and encourage exploration.
Throughout the week, kids and teens ages 7–17 can discover interactive activities, demonstrations and educational experiences in the Skylab Innovation Center and at the Junior ACEs Tent in Future ’n Flight Plaza.
Specific activities, presentations and participating organizations will be announced as 2027 programming is confirmed.
Family Oasis & Kids Club
A Place for Families to Recharge
A full day at SUN ’n FUN can be a big adventure—especially for our youngest guests.
Located in Future ’n Flight Plaza, Family Oasis gives families with young children a comfortable place to cool down, regroup and recharge during the Expo.
Family Oasis amenities include:
- Air-conditioned space
- Nursing area
- Family comfort stations
- Crafts and activities
- Picnic tables and seating
Access to Family Oasis is included with SUN ’n FUN admission.
Children must remain supervised by a parent or guardian while visiting Family Oasis during regular daytime hours.
Kids Club | Select Evenings
When the daytime Family Oasis winds down, the space becomes home to Kids Club on select Expo evenings.
Kids Club provides supervised evening childcare so parents and guardians can enjoy SUN ’n FUN’s nighttime entertainment while kids enjoy an evening of their own.
Kids Club includes supervised activities, crafts, dinner and snacks in a fun, kid-friendly environment with experienced childcare providers.
Space is limited, and advance registration is recommended.
