Bringing an Aerobatic Aircraft to SUN ’n FUN? 

Fly your aerobatic aircraft to SUN ’n FUN and make Aerobatic HQ your home base during the Expo. 

Aerobatic HQ provides designated aircraft parking and camping for qualifying aerobatic aircraft, along with a gathering place for pilots and members of the aerobatic community throughout the week. 

Aerobatic Aircraft Eligibility 

For purposes of Aerobatic HQ, aerobatic flight means an intentional maneuver involving an abrupt change in an aircraft’s attitude, an abnormal attitude, or abnormal acceleration not necessary for normal flight, as defined by FAR 91.303. 

Aircraft meeting this definition are eligible for Aerobatic HQ parking and camping.

Parking at Aerobatic HQ 

Flying in for the day? Qualifying aerobatic aircraft may park in the designated Aerobatic HQ aircraft area without camping. 

Before arriving, review the current NOTAM and follow SUN ’n FUN aircraft parking-sign requirements so ground personnel can direct you to the appropriate area after landing.

Planning to stay with your aircraft? 

Aircraft camping is available within the designated Aerobatic HQ area. 

Use the following aircraft-camping placard when arriving:

International Aerobatic Club 

The International Aerobatic Club (IAC) will be represented throughout the week at SUN ’n FUN Aerobatic HQ. 

2027 IAC HQ event details will be added as they are confirmed.
