SUN ‘n FUN Press Center
Media Credential applications are currently CLOSED and will open in December 2026 for SNF53. No walk up registrations will be accepted.
The SUN ’n FUN Press Center provides credentialed media representatives with a dedicated, professional workspace throughout the Aerospace Expo. The Press Center is located in the SW Exhibits Area on Peggy Brown Road, behind Prop 75 (formerly Pilot Mall). Press conferences are also held at this location.

The Press Center is reserved exclusively for SUN ’n FUN credentialed media representatives and press conference representatives. To maintain a professional working environment, guests, family members—including children—friends, and other company personnel accompanying a credentialed media representative are not permitted inside the Press Center or its outdoor facilities.
Media breakfasts, lunches, and receptions are sponsored events reserved for the working media representative only, unless otherwise advised.
The Press Center is limited to guests 18 years of age and older. Children are not permitted in the Press Center unless specifically authorized by the SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo.
Upon arrival at the Press Center Parking Lot, proceed to the Press Center Check-In building located in the parking lot to pick up your media wristband and vehicle pass.
After parking, a Press Shuttle is available to transport credentialed media representatives to the Press Center.
Please note: Exhibitor Check-In also serves as the Media Credential Check-In location.

Press Shuttle
The Press Shuttle provides pickup and drop-off service for credentialed media representatives throughout the Expo. Service may be requested by calling 863-608-0498. The Press Shuttle phone number is also printed on your media badge. Five designated pickup locations are available:
- West end of Warbird Ramp – Taxiway Foxtrot
- East end of Warbird Ramp – Taxiway Bravo
- Runway 5 & Taxiway Echo on the number “5”
- Paradise City Welcome Center
- The Island Shuttle Pick-Up

Credential Overview
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, WALK-UP REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Before requesting media credentials, please review the definitions and eligibility requirements below. Familiarizing yourself with these requirements before applying will help prevent delays in processing your credential request.

By accepting SUN ’n FUN media credentials, you acknowledge—either on your own behalf or as an authorized representative of your company—that you understand and accept SUN ’n FUN’s broadcast, film, video, trademark, and copyright policies. Issuance of a SUN ’n FUN Media Credential and admission to the SUN ’n FUN campus are conditional upon acceptance of these policies.

SUN ’n FUN limits the number of credentials issued to each media outlet to a reasonable number at its discretion:
- Video/Film Crews: Maximum of 4 crew members and 2 talent
- Radio or Podcast Crews: Maximum of 2 crew members and 2 talent
- Print or Internet Media: Maximum of 1 photographer and 1 reporter
Personnel exceeding these limits will be encouraged to purchase event admission. Exceptions may be considered by submitting a detailed explanation of the need to the SUN ’n FUN Media team at [email protected].
Important: Press IDs issued by organizations that charge a fee for the ID are not sufficient to qualify for SUN ’n FUN media credentials.
Email addresses collected from registered media representatives are used to distribute SUN ’n FUN news updates and press releases throughout the year. This list will not be shared with exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, or event guests.
SUN ’n FUN reserves the right to request additional information and may approve or deny credential requests at its discretion.
The Media Credential Application requires a hyperlink to previous coverage of the SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo. This portion of the application must be completed, or SUN ’n FUN reserves the right to deny the credential request.

Applications must include all requested information to be processed in a timely manner.
Definitions & Eligibility
Working Media
SUN ʼn FUN media credentials are for working media representatives only. Media credentials will not be issued to family members, friends, children or those working in marketing, advertising, promotions or sales. Company executives, management personnel, or corporate officers do not qualify for media credentials.
Entities under contract with SUN ’n FUN—including sponsors, partners, exhibitors, and similar organizations—may be issued Media Credentials only when those credentials are provided in support of the applicable agreement.
Print and Broadcast
Print and broadcast outlets that have not covered SUN ’n FUN within the past two years will be required to meet SUN ’n FUN’s print/broadcast requirements. Pre-registration is required. These qualifications cannot be verified efficiently onsite during the Expo.
Video/Film Production Crews
Film and production crews working on non-news projects must receive advance approval from the SUN ’n FUN Director of Marketing before media credentials can be issued. In most cases, a separate licensing agreement must be negotiated and the appropriate fee paid. Licensing agreements must be negotiated and completed within 30 days of the event and will not be issued onsite. For additional information contact [email protected]
Photographers
- All photographers must either be on assignment from a publication or website, with an assignment letter and outlet credential, or be identified as the sole photographer for an airshow performer.
- Each photographer assigned by a qualifying media outlet is eligible for one media credential for themselves. Credential requests must be submitted by the media outlet—not the individual photographer.
- Airshow performers may receive one media credential for a photographer identified by the team or individual performer. That credential will be included within the agreed-upon contract between the Airshow Performer and SUN ’n FUN.
- Assistants and other crew members are not eligible for media credentials. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and require an email providing a detailed explanation of the need.
- Credentialed photographers must wear their media credential and vest at all times to access official media towers and designated media areas.
- Photographer credentials are issued for editorial photography only. Photographers working for stock houses, resale, or other commercial purposes will not be credentialed.
- Freelance and amateur photographers are encouraged to purchase event admission and upgrade to Photo Preferred Seating.
- All photographers should review SUN ’n FUN’s photo and copyright/trademark policy before attending.
Websites and Digital Newsletters
SUN ’n FUN does not automatically recognize websites and online newsletters as working media outlets for the purpose of issuing media credentials. We recognize that newsletters, websites, bloggers, and other digital publishers may distribute aviation information to club members and the general public and may benefit from access to exhibitors and vendors. However, SUN ’n FUN is unable to issue media credentials to every digital site or publication.
Representatives of these organizations are welcome to submit a request through the online Media Credential Application. SUN ’n FUN will review the application and may authorize credentials. If your request is declined, we encourage you to purchase event admission, cover your SUN ’n FUN experience through your publication, blog, video channel, or other platform, and reapply the following year using that published work as an example of your coverage.
Student Projects
Student communication studies, videography or similar groups will be considered for credentials for one day of the event. A formal request from the instructor with an outline of the project, names of students, and, ultimately, the final product should be sent to [email protected]
Social Media
The SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo no longer maintains a separate credential application for aviation social media influencers. Social media influencers seeking media credentials should complete the standard Media Credential Application below and will be evaluated through the same media credential vetting process.
