Fly your STOL aircraft to SUN ’n FUN and make STOL Basecamp your home during the Expo.
STOL Basecamp provides designated aircraft parking and underwing camping for qualifying STOL aircraft, bringing pilots and the backcountry aviation community together throughout the week.
STOL Aircraft Eligibility
STOL Basecamp aircraft parking and camping are available for aircraft classified as having Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) characteristics.
Because space within STOL Basecamp is limited, pilots planning to park or camp with their aircraft must register in advance.
Advance Registration Required
Advance registration is required for all aircraft parking and underwing camping at STOL Basecamp.
Registration helps the Basecamp team coordinate aircraft parking, camping and pilot support while accommodating as many aircraft as possible within the available space.

Parking at STOL Basecamp
Registered STOL aircraft may park within the designated STOL Basecamp aircraft area, whether you’re staying for the day or camping with your aircraft.
When arriving for STOL Basecamp parking or camping, use the following aircraft placard:

Review the current NOTAM and SUN ’n FUN aircraft parking-sign requirements before your flight so ground personnel can direct you to the appropriate area after landing.

Planning to stay with your aircraft?
Underwing aircraft camping is available within STOL Basecamp for registered pilots.
Use the STOL placard when arriving and review Aircraft Camping for current rates, early-arrival information, universal aircraft-camping rules and available amenities.

Participating in the STOL Invitational?
STOL Basecamp serves as the home base for pilots participating in the 2027 STOL Invitational.
STOL Basecamp aircraft parking and camping registration is separate from participation in the STOL Invitational.
