SUN ‘n FUN Camping – Fueling Futures

Planning to camp at the 2026 Aerospace Expo? Your stay fuels the future! Proceeds from camping support youth aviation education through the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE), helping us Engage, Educate & Accelerate the next generation of aerospace professionals


Why Camp With Us?

Whether you’re staying for a night or the full week, camping at SUN ‘n FUN offers a unique way to experience the Expo. Enjoy aviation by day and entertainment by night—including the Corn Roast, Fire Hub camaraderie, opening night concert, evening presentations at “The Hangar,” and two night airshows (Wednesday and Saturday). You’re also welcome to grab an Uber and explore Lakeland’s dining scene. 

New in 2026: Join us at The Spot at Hangar E – a vibrant gathering space where campers can enjoy food, drinks & live entertainment in a relaxed, social atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind, connect & celebrate the SNF experience.


SUN ‘n FUN’s 60-acre campground offers RV and tent camping in the following areas:

  • General Camping
  • Tent Camping
  • 24-Hour Generator
  • ADA Camping (special permit and approval required)
  • NEW FEATURE Rocky Road Premium Camping – includes electric and water hookups, available exclusively via the SNF Camping Portal in early 2026

Camper Registration opens: April 7, 2026 at noon

Premium Camping at Rocky Road will be available for purchase online only via the SNF Camping Portal in early 2026. These sites include electric and water hookups and are expected to sell quickly.

Early Arrivals:
Campers arriving before April 7 should proceed to the main SUN ‘n FUN entrance at 4075 James C. Ray Dr., take an immediate left to the Florida Air Museum, and request a campground permit purchase with Cindy.

  • Weekly Camping & Fly ‘n Early Packages available online prior to the show
  • Daily Camping available onsite at arrival
  • Standard dry sites: $42/day + tax
  • Rocky Road sites: Starting at $100/day + tax (online only)
  • All campers arriving before April 14 must pay a daily camping fee for each day prior to April 14
  • All camping rates are subject to 7% sales tax & 5% tourist tax

  • Showerhouses, potable water, dump stations, and porta-potties available
  • Pump-out service: $55
  • Potable water delivery: $70 (1–50 gal), $120 (51+ gal)

  • All campers must wear admission wristbands and display a camper permit
  • No RV movement after dark
  • Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM
  • Generators may operate between 7 AM and 10 PM (except in 24-Hour Generator area)
  • No early setups without a paid permit
  • Rigs over 45′ must purchase two adjacent sites
  • Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after; pets are not allowed inside the convention site
  • No open fires; contained charcoal or gas grills only
  • No skateboards, scooters, or motorized personal vehicles allowed
  • Bicycles permitted in campground only
  • ADA Camping available by advance request with medical documentation
  • Campground Hosts are available to assist you

The Fire Hub is for shared enjoyment. Please do not remove wood, add flammable liquids, or treat the fire pit as a trash bin. Quiet time begins at 10 PM, and the Fire Hub closes at midnight. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
