Aiming to contribute to enhancing, simplifying, and expanding the ultralight aviation market, Vittorazi presents at the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo 2024 the Cosmos300 EFI, Electronic Fuel Injection, in a prototype version.
SUN ’n FUN is one of the biggest Aerospace Expo, taking place in Lakeland, Florida, with a strong focus to the promotion of aviation education. It is best known for the annual, one-week-long Fly-In and its airshow at Lakeland Linder International Airport where aviation enthusiasts from all over the world gather to enjoy the catch up with like-minded people.
This year Vittorazi will directly be involved for the first time ever and will showcase its engines in two different exhibiting areas: the Light Plane Area and the Innovation Showcase, where attendees will have the chance to get a deeper understanding of the recently patented EFI technology and the possibility to ask questions to Vittorazi specialized engineers.
At the Light Plane Area, the focus on display in a 225 square meters area will be on the applications related to the ultralight aviation of the Cosmos300 and presenting the first prototype of Cosmos300 EFI along with the well-established Moster185 EFI. It is always pleasing to remember that the Cosmos300 is an engine that in less than two years has conquered world records and won world championships recognised by the International Aircraft Federation (FAI).
What makes this Cosmos300 EFI unique? In addition to having received the highest award from the United States with a patent dedicated to the EFI technology that equips this jewel of technology, today the Cosmos300 sets another milestone: a two-stroke engine completely dedicated to ultralight aviation with fully integrated EFI, a twin spark plug system, liquid cooling, centrifugal clutch, countershaft, all in one. A true excellence in its category with a mix of performance, safety, comfort unique in its class. If this were not enough, we have designed a plug-and-play system that will revolutionize the installation process and all service work. A tech-package never seen before!
The heavy presence of the Cosmos300, the so-called “Engine of Records”, is one of the reasons why attendees should absolutely not miss what is going to be on display at the Light Plane Area (Booth60). Designed to be featured on two-seater trikes, hang gliders, and even minimal ULMs, during the SUN ‘n FUN, the Cosmos300 will be mounted on different trikes and frames from our manufacturing partners so that its versatility will truly be appreciated.
On top of that, together with its USA dealers and frame manufacturers, Vittorazi will showcase its full lineup of engines designed for trikes and paramotors: the lightweight and super comfortable Atom80, the jack-of-all-trades and best-selling engine Moster185, the flashy Moster185 Factory-R.
Likewise, attendees will be able to take a closer look at the Moster185 EFI, the paramotor engine that aims to redefine the way flight enthusiasts experience paramotoring thanks to the introduction of smart electronics and the concept of the Fuel Injection in this industry.
