“Give ‘Em the Pickle” – SUN ‘n FUN’s Approach to Customer Service

You might be wondering why we are writing a blog post about a pickle. Pickles don’t necessarily relate to airplanes, airshows, and family fun. But we’re here to tell you that we are going to be giving each SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo an extra pickle this year! No, not an actual pickle. Let’s begin with the video that started it all.

This year, our volunteers are committed to excellent customer service for the 50th SUN ‘n FUN. Our Volunteer Director, Angela Mann, provided a brief statement on what giving our guests the “pickle” means to her and the volunteers:

What’s your pickle? It is also a way to say ‘How may I help you?’ We are here to provide an excellent guest experience. What does that mean? It means that each guest gets a little something extra from us. We are trying hard to anticipate all of our guest’s needs before they need anything, but should we have miseed something, let us know so we can fix it for you.
