Warbirds 20 Under 40

Applications are now being accepted for Warbirds 20 Under 40 program operated under the National Warbirds Operators Conference. The application window is now until June 15, 2024. Winners will be announced and recognized at Oshkosh 2024.

We are looking to recognize the next generation of caretakers of our beloved warbirds. Anyone involved under the age of 40 is eligible.

Involved means Ground crew and support/museum staff/mechanics/pilots/photographers/airshow organizers or announcers….ie we want to recognize everyone who puts in the time and effort and shows their love for these historic machines.

Additionally, we are looking for donations of 2 types. Cash (about 1k to cover the cost of the physical awards) and more importantly ‘in kind’ opportunities for our winners. Training/mentorship/rides/apprenticships. If you have involvement in Warbirds and can help with that, please email me at Warbirds20u40@Gmail.com or PM me here.

Also, if you are attending SUN ‘n FUN reach out! Many members of our committee will be there as will I! You will find me somewhere between B-25 Panchito, the warbird flightline and the 9/27 Club
