Robots Are Coming

AC Air Technology in Chino California has developed a robotic helicopter tug like no other. This innovative design will be on display at Sun N Fun for the first time. It is completely hands free and allows one person to move multiple helicopters around with ease. The tug easily loads, moves and unloads the helicopter by using the user-friendly remote control. No clamps or straps are needed, after the helicopter is loaded it can be maneuvered around tight hangars or transferred to the flight line.

These tugs are powered by four 24V Lithium-ion batteries that can tow an average of 30 minutes per charge. Extra batteries can be purchased to easily be swapped during the operation of the tug to extend the distance being towed.

The remote control is 2.4 Ghz with Frequency Hopping and PCM (pulse code modulation) to eliminate interference from other 2.4 Ghz signals.

Come by booth N55 to see the tug in action.
