Warbirds In Review at
Victory's Arsenal Theater
SEE HISTORY COME ALIVE
Noted for showcasing some of history's most notable aircraft and their pilots, Warbirds In Review is a trip back in time to learn about the most influential people and their planes from all arenas of conflict through the generations.
Each day at SUN 'n FUN 2021, you will get to meet a new pilot right in front of their aircraft, see a live interview, then ask questions and interact directly with the host and their guest. It's a rare opportunity to get up close to the aircraft that made history and learn how their contributions shaped the future.
Connie Bowlin, founder of Warbirds in Review and an incredible Warbird pilot herself, is our special guest host and interviewer for the week. Connie created Warbirds In Review, and has crafted a unique storytelling environment that has been enjoyed by tens of thousands over the years at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. Connie has been a mainstay at SUN 'n FUN for many years, bringing in warbirds for notable owners such as Jack Roush and Jim Hagedorn. Connie has been and airline Captain, P-51 Mustang Pilot, and President of EAA Warbirds of America for two years. Connie was “Hooked on Flying” after taking a first lesson in college. In 1978, she became the fourth female pilot ever hired by Delta Airlines. For Delta she flew the 727, the DC-9, the MD-88, the B-767 and the B-757.
Theresa Eaman will bring her amazing classic vocals to welcome visitors to Victory's Arsenal Theater. See her sing daily before each Warbirds In Review session! You can read more about Theresa and her wonderful performances here.

National STOL Demonstration
HOW SLOW CAN YOU GO?
Most airshows demonstrate pilots and aircraft operating at maximum performance at high speed with aerobatic displays of amazing talent. STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) Competitions show another side of flight, showcase the skill and precision of pilots who have mastered the art of flying low and slow, and we are pleased to be hosting a demonstration all week of National STOL's Competition Series during the SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo!
The National STOL Competition uses a fixed line that competitors must land beyond, and their distance is recorded when their tires stop. For takeoffs, pilots start on the line and take off in the shortest distance. In both cases, the distance is measured from the start line.
National STOL founder Doug Jackson recently announced that his series has partnered with Aviat Husky.
“We are proud to announce Aviat Husky as the Official 2021 Series Sponsor of National STOL!", Jackson said in a recent interview. "Aviat Husky has been instrumental in our success from day one, and we are grateful they believe in this exciting new take on STOL competitions. We look forward to a long relationship with the Husky brand.”
Aviat Husky aircraft will participate in the demo flying, and will be on display with Aviat representatives available to answer questions and give walkarounds of the planes.
The STOL demonstrations will take place in the Paradise City Light Plane area on the South end of the field. Tram service is available, and there are numerous vendors and flying all day in this area, so be sure to check it out!
The STOL demo flights will take place Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 6PM immediately following the daily airshows.
