Join us for the 8th Annual Mayor’s Breakfast

 

This year, Central Florida’s Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing Director, Mark Jackson will share insights into Polk County tourism and the impact of COVID-19 on local tourism. What were some of the lessons learned from 2020? Discover some “best practices” moving forward. SUN ‘n FUN President and CEO, John Leenhouts, will highlight plans for the upcoming SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, scheduled for April 13 – 18, 2021.

Hear the latest news from the Aerospace Center for Excellence, including the 2021 opening of Project SkyLab – the expansion of the Florida Air Museum, the focus on STEM and aerospace programs, along with an update on the construction project. Proceeds from SUN ’n FUN’s annual event provides educational support to the aerospace industry.

The event will be spaced out in the Skylight Hangar to allow for social distancing and we will be following the City of Lakeland COVID-19 guidelines and CDC recommendations. Masks are required.

Breakfast will be provided by Frescos. Attendees at the breakfast will have the opportunity to win a flight or simulator ride with the Lakeland Aero Club students or a SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo ticket package.

Individual tickets are $20. Reserved tables of 6 are $150 per-table.
