Nancy's
Notes

  • It is time to purchase your 9/27 Club tickets! If you joined us in 2021, thank you. It was the best SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo in our 47-year history.
  • With your help we were able to complete our Skylab Innovation Center, the first-ever purposely built, aerospace-based home for hands-on learning STEM laboratories.  The SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo is the main fundraiser for all the education opportunities at our Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE).
  • Important information to consider:
  • The general admission (event entry) ticket is only included with the online 9/27 ticket purchase (daily or weekly). The 9/27 Club sold out four out of the six days during the 2021 Expo.
  • One parking pass is needed per vehicle on each day you attend the 9/27 Club.  Purchase one 9/27 Club + Parking ticket for your vehicle and yourself and then add any additional 9/27 Daily tickets needed.
  • If you are going to be on property AFTER the last transport to the 9/27 Lot, you will need to move your vehicle to the main parking area prior to 9/27 Lot closing (at no charge). The 9/27 Lot / Gate 33 is on Airport property. When it is closed, only official personnel with an approved badge can open it.
    • This does not include Tuesday evening Weekly Ticket Holder Happy Hour or Wednesday and Saturday night airshows.
    • If you are attending the Thursday night Birthday Bash Fund Raiser, for your convenience, we will help you move your vehicle to the adjacent parking lot at the CFAA High School prior to the event. This will expedite a timely departure from the site after the event. Please let us know when you check-in that day.
  • Every person you see “working” at the Expo is a volunteer. Our volunteers are extremely valuable to us. We could not have this event without them. Please be kind and thank them for their efforts.
  • We will have a “Donation Station Store” set up with aviation-related items for purchase.
  • Currently, we are working on setting up Venmo and PayPal to use inside the Club for 2022.
  • ALL 9/27 Club tips and donations from the 2022 expo will be used for the Destination Aviation Summer Camps. These monies will be directed to the equipment needed as well as scholarships for children who would not otherwise be able to attend.
  • Please inform me if you are camping on site. All of your credentials, including the 9/27 Club wristband, will be in your camping package at Camping Registration.  (This information is not currently sent to me.)
    • If you camp with us, would you be interested in having a reserved campground established for 9/27 Club members?
  • Would you or your company like to sponsor any part of the week by supplying “bling” for giveaways such as koozies, key chains, eyeglass cleaning cloth, etc. Please email me.
  • Please feel free to email me with any questions. I am also a volunteer and I am not often in the office during the summer, my email comes to my personal phone so I will get back to you as soon as I can.

See you April!
