Join us for the 9th Annual Mayor’s Breakfast

You are invited to attend the exhilarating Ninth Annual Mayor’s SUN ‘n FUN Breakfast on Wednesday, March 2nd. To be clear, this is NOT the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, as that is held on the first Thursday of May every year. Instead, this event, the Mayor’s SUN ‘n FUN Breakfast, is a celebration of what’s to come at this year’s SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo and raises awareness of the funding impact SNF has on aviation education at the Aerospace Center for Excellence, including the new Ramus Skylab Innovation Center!

This year’s speaker will be Polk State College President Dr. Angela Garcia Falconetti, CFRE. In addition, SUN ‘n FUN President and CEO, John Leenhouts, will highlight plans for the upcoming SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo scheduled for April 5-10, 2022. Proceeds from SUN ’n FUN provide impactful educational, financial, and training exposure for students entering the aerospace industry.

The Skylight Hangar will hold the event on March 2nd, 2022, at 7 AM. Frescos will provide a delicious breakfast. Attendees at the breakfast will have the opportunity to win a flight in a Stearman with John “Lites” Leenhouts as well as a SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo ticket package. Ramus Skylab Innovation Center tours will follow the breakfast.

Warm Regards, Bill Mutz, Mayor – City of Lakeland, FL
